On the morning of September 3ed, Labor Day, we flew from San Francisco to
Vancouver, BC. We arrived at the Vancouver International Airport and, after
clearing customs, had to wait for our bus to the Cruise ship terminal in
downtown Vancouver.

Our ship was the Sun Princess. It was 157.2 feet long and 105.8 feet wide and
drew 26' 7.5". It had 1950 passengers and 900 crew. It's cruising speed was
20.0 knots and it could make a top speed of 22.5 knots.

After getting situated in our stateroom, we went ashore to explore GasTown, the
old part of downtown Vancouver...

Back aboard the Sun Princess, we took in gorgeous views of the Vancouver Harbor
including watching seaplanes come and go...

We set sail at approximately 5:30pm and passed out through the Lion's Gate
Bridge at 6:13pm.

We sailed away from the city and through the Canadian Inside Passage on the 4th
of September. The weather was rainy and overcast so there was nothing
particularly photogenic until we reached Ketchikan
on the morning of September 5th.
