Highlights of August 2015

reading in August 2015
First Hike
Lyra went for her first hike on Mt. Burdell. She did well
- way more focused than Buggi was at her age. She looks like she will grow to be
an accomplished hiker.
Walk for the Seals
Our whole family (Jon, Care, Buggi, Lyra) participated in the 40th Annual Run
for the Seals race sponsored by the Marine Mammal Center in the Marin Headlands.
Because of Jon's knee and Lyra's inexperience we walked instead of running but
had fun anyway. The course was new - winding up above Ft. Cronkite.
 
 
 
Winemaker's Dinner
At the end of August, we went to the Gustafson's Winemaker's
dinner - an annual ritual. We took Jon's sister Jane and husband Scott. We did a
Dry Creek Valley bike ride the Saturday morning before the dinner.
