Renovations

See the progress of our renovations in December

Our renovations were completed just before Christmas when our new red front door was installed and painted.

Autodesk University

Autodesk held its 21st Autodesk University in Las Vegas just after Thanksgiving. Jon's team had a lot to do with its production. In addition to the conference, Jon was surprised when he got a text from his sister, Jane. She and her husband Scott were "on vacation" in Las Vegas and saw the Autodesk signs. They joined us for a reception and the Autodesk University closing session.

Jon, Bill and Brenda opened a session with a bar skit.

At the closing session, Jon's assistant was picked (unexpectedly for her to be levitated in a Penn and Teller magic trick. For all of the details (and the video) see the Autodesk Labs blog - It's Alive in the Lab.

Open Space Volunteer Party

Right after Autodesk University, we went to a party for the Marin County Open Space volunteers. There was a gift exchange that allowed (and encouraged) stealing so Jon stole a nice LED light from Rangr Greg. Care bought a tub of cheese balls which we expect will end up as bait in the ranger office to entice retired Ranger Rich to come back and volunteer.

CSE Holiday Lunch

Right before the Autodesk "week of rest", Jon's team held their holiday lunch.

Dinner Party

Right before Christmas, we had a dinner party with the Looks, Chins, and Savonas.
