Grand Canyon Trip - June 2 - Departure from Lee's
Ferry
On Saturday, June 2, we met at the hotel and drove 1 1/2 hours to Lee's
Ferry, the launch site for our paddling trip. At Lee's Ferry, we met the crew,
were fitted for our lifevests, and launched on our trip.

We paddled down past the Navajo Bridge for our first lunch. While paddling,
we received our initial orientation to the river and instruction in paddling
technique.
