Hilo and Volcanoes National Park

After cruising over the island by helicopter, we took a day and drove a loop around the Big Island. We spent time around the Kilauea Caldera and Kilauea Crater.  We were able to walk up to steaming vents, hardened lava flows from the 60's, 80's and 90's as well as peering into abandoned lava tubes.
