Highlights of April 2000
Asia
Immediately upon our return from sabbatical, an orphaned siberian puppy was offered to
us. We had a trial weekend with the puppy and she is now a member of the family.
 
 
Dry Creek
The last weekend of the April is the annual Dry Creek Valley Growers Association
wine tasting and food festival. This is a ticket-by-lottery event which we have been
fortunate to attend for several years now. The food is always excellent and the wine
tasting introduces new flavors to us.
 
 
In addition to food and wine it was a perfect spring day and the flowers were beautiful
throughout the valley.
