The Hotel Zum Storchen ("the stork") where we stayed. The hotel was right along the river.

We enjoyed the Zum Storchen for its historical context and central location.

We were able to walk along the river on boardwalks and walkways under buildings.

Jon's view from our breakfast table, across the river and toward the lake, included the Grossmunster church first constructed in 1090.

Banhofstrasse (train station street) - a busy and prosperous shopping street.   Lots of Swiss banks and watch stores here.
