Fireman's Fund Demolition

In mid-October, demolition began on the Fireman's Fund complex in our neighborhood. The complex has been sitting empty for ten years and is now being torn down to make way for new housing.

Eagles @ The Sphere

At the very end of the month, we flew over to Las Vegas to see the Eagles at The Sphere The Eagles were phenomenal - they played for two solid hours - all of their hits. We were surprised that knew them all - and the words to them all. Although we were far away from the stage, we could easily see it (albeit tiny) and had great seats for the Sphere visual effects. There were visuals customized for each song. The visuals and sound were stunning. The audience was predominently people our age - since The Eagles have been performing for over 50 years. We are glad we went. We stayed the weekend at the Venetian and on Saturday, Novemer 1 went to see The Wizard of Oz.
