October was a busy month, we returned from our Singapore/Bali/Indonesia trip, celebrated Jon's 68th birthday and then turned around with a trip to Cincinnati for Jon's 50th reunion of the start of his architecture school class - it was a fun event.
Yellow Springs
Before my class reunion, Care, Sara, Rusty and I went up to Yellow Springs, Ohio. We found Ohio Silver, a store founded by my friend Tucker Viemeister. Yellow Springs was already getting into the Halloween spirit.
DAA 50th reunion
We went back to Cincinnati for the 50th reunion of the first year of architecture school at the University of Cincinnati. We started our architectural careers in 1974 at the tender age of 17 and 18. We had a number of classmates and their significant others. It was great to see everybody and catch up on our lives and careers. We were close as a class and this event brought back lots of fond memories. As part of the festivities, we toured Union Terminal, the Swing House, and the Cincinnati waterfront. We also saw Blink - a laser light festival in downtown Cincinnati.
