Highlights of July 2010 See what we were reading in July 2010 On July 4th, we did our annual hike on the Big Rock trail in Lucas Valley. We hiked in the morning because it gets very hot there - it was 72o when we left at 9 and 84o when we finished at 11:30. Not too bad. This was Buggi's first time to hike Big Rock. He was very energetic on the way up and very tired on the way down. TasZ, who has done this hike before, knew to pace herself. 
 
We attended a members' open house in July which
included a tour of the facility and a lecture about the current work at the Gulf
of Mexico oil spill. On to August 2010 |
