Indian Tree Hike
In early August, Jon hiked the Marin County Open Space Indian Tree preserve. It was a pretty shady hike with lots of nice redwoods on the Big Trees and Ship's Mast trails.
August had less travel than June and July and more socializing at home or close to home.

Roof 106 Date
In late August, we went on a mid-week lunch date to Roof 106 at the Matheson Hotel in Healdsburg. We have wanted to go there for a while and decided to go for lunch on a Wednesday to avoid the crowds. It worked and we had a great meal and nice time.
Pizzafest
In late August, we had our friend, Hilmar, over to bake pizzas in our Ooni pizza oven. We made a variety of pizzas and continued to perfect our pizza technique under Hilmar's watchful eye.
