November 2019

November was a busy month winding down a bunch of Autodesk projects prior to our sabbatical.

Hoover Institution - Stanford

In early November, Jon went to Stanford with a group of Air Force fellows, to visit the Hoover Institution, a conservative think tank. There, we met with George P. Schultz, former Secretary of State, Treasury, and Labor. He was very lucid and it was fascinating to hear him speak of the post WWII world order and Americas role in shaping and leading it.

Sophie

Pre-Thanksgiving, our niece Megan, her husand Josh, and new great-niece Sophie came to San Francisco to visit. We had dinner at Zero-Zero. Sophie did not no quite how to deal with a restaurant (nor they with her), but she had a good time.
