Highlights of April 2006

See what we were reading in April 2006.

Tiger Club - Da Nang Vietnam

Jon was awarded a trip to Autodesk's Tiger Club for contribution to the APac Emerging Market organization. He and Care went to a 3-day event at the Furama Beach Resort in Danang. In Da nang, we got to visit My Son, a World Heritage Site that we missed on our first trip to Vietnam and visited Hoi An, Da Nang, and Hue again.

India

In mid-April, Jon took a trip to India. He opened two educational laboratories, one at JJ College of Architecture in Mumbai and the other at the School of Planning and Architecture in Delhi. He also participated in the Autodesk APac-Emerging Geo staff meeting and a group field trip to the Taj Mahal.

Taj Mahal. After the staff meeting, we took a field trip to the Taj Mahal. It was better in real life than the photos. The drive from Delhi to Agra was a real eye-opener, too!

Hanger

Meanwhile, back in the U.S., Petaluma Municipal Airport finally completed construction of 52 T hangers and Jon finally got one. This is now our "second home" in beautiful Sonoma County, California.

Passport

The very last weekend in April, we made our annual pilgrimage to Sonoma County's Dry Creek Valley for Passport - where we travel to various wineries for wine and food.
