House Renovations

At the end of March, we finally finished our house renovations. We actually still have some minor items to finish but we are substantially complete.

We retiled the bathroom and had a new tub and shower built... and retiled the kitchen.

We recarpeted and painted the living and dining areas and installed new window treatments.

We also retiled and carpeted the family room and had a french door installed...

Dry Creek Passport Weekend

April 26-28.  The annual Dry Creek Passport Wine Weekend took place this last weekend in April. Although participation is by lottery, we have managed to get tickets for the past three years.  Usually it is a sunny, warm weekend in which we enjoy good food, wine and music at many of the Dry Creek wineries. 

Our first stop and check-in was Ferrari-Carano which has spectacular flowers on the grounds this time of year. 
 

We visited some of our favorite wineries and then headed to Bella Winery, a new entry into the Passport weekend. Their site was at the top of Bella Hill with a view  west toward the Dry Creek Valley.
